Building 26 Central Steam Plant, National Institutes of Health/Rocky Mountain Laboratories

Project Description: Original project design included mechanical and electrical design for a new duel fuel steam plant and distribution system for two 50,000 lb steam boilers with a delivery capacity of 100,000 lbs/hr. Project included dedicated electrical service and emergency power generator. As part of BSL-4 facility project, the Steam Plant was expanded and a third 50,000 lbs/hr boiler was added with provisions for a fourth unit.
